Simple Mint and Ginger Lemonade

This easy mint and ginger lemonade is so refreshing and thirst quenching! It is made with all fresh ingredients, like fresh ginger juice and fresh squeezed lemon juice. A hint of mint adds a nice cool after taste. This will be a favorite drink for hot summer days!

Ingredients

  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice about 4-5 lemons
  • 1 cup ginger juice
  • 750 mL sparkling water
  • ¼ cup simple syrup optional

Instructions

  • Place thoroughly washed mint leaves in pitcher and muddle gently with the bottom of a wooden spoon.
  • Add lemon juice, ginger juice, sparkling water and simple syrup if using. Mix to combine.
  • Serve cold over ice. Option to top with ginger, mint, and/or lemon slices.

Notes

Fresh ginger juice can separate from the bottom. Simply stir before serving.
This lemonade will keep in the refrigerator for a few days, but is best when used in the first 24 hours.
