Ingredients

Honey Lavender Syrup

  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup water

Latte

  • 2 ounces espresso
  • ½ cup oat milk regular or barista

Instructions

Make the honey lavender simple syrup:

  • In a small sauce pan combine the honey, water and dried lavender. Heat over medium heat until reaching a simmer, stirring occasionally. Once honey fully dissolves, remove from heat and let sit for 20-30 minutes to allow the lavender to seep. Strain the syrup using a fine mesh strainer into a sealed container.

Make the latte

  • Froth or steam milk to desired consistency.
  • Pour 1-2 ounces of honey lavender syrup into a mug depending on desired strength of syrup and sweetener. Add espresso.
  • Top with frothed or steamed milk.
  • For the iced version, add ice before the last step.

Notes

To froth milk, use a milk, frother or heat milk in a small saucepan and whisk until frothy.
