- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Cup Fresh Cranberries
- 1 Orange peel only
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 6 Cloves
Put all ingredients into a small pot on the stove. Bring to a simmer on medium-low heat.
Simmer for about 10-minutes, until the sugar is dissolved and almost all cranberries have popped (you'll know because they will crack and make a "POP" sound!).
Remove from heat and strain into an air-tight container or jar. The simple syrup will last up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
