Carrot Ginger Turmeric Juice Recipe

Delicious blend of fresh carrot, ginger, and turmeric juice with apple and lemon. Includes blender and juicer instructions!

Ingredients

  • 6 carrots cut into 3-4” pieces
  • 1 lemon peel removed
  • 1 orange peel removed
  • 1 red apple cut into pieces
  • 2 inches ginger root
  • 2 inches turmeric root
  • Black pepper to taste optional

Instructions

Juicer Method

  • Prepare all ingredients: cut carrots into 3-4” pieces large enough to fit through your juicer’s chute; remove the peels of the lemon and orange; and cut the apple into 8 pieces large enough to fit through the chute.
  • Juice the lemon on the LOW setting, allowing it to completely juice before beginning the other ingredients.
  • Juice the carrot, orange, red apple, ginger and turmeric on the TURBO setting.
  • Store in an airtight jar with a lid or enjoy right away.

Blender Method

  • Ensure that green apple cores are removed. Cut all prepped ingredients into a 1” dice.
  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
  • Blend all ingredients until smooth - you may have to use your blender tamper to push ingredients down into the blades.
  • Once smooth, transfer liquid into a strainer over a large measuring cup or bowl.
  • Gently push on the pulp to release the juice into the cup.
  • Discard pulp or reuse it, and enjoy juice immediately or transfer to an airtight container or jar and into the fridge.

Notes

If using the blender method, juice may be thicker. To reduce the thickness of the juice, strain twice.
Fresh juice is best when consumed immediately or within a few hours. If you need to store the juice for later, drink it within 72 hours, but most recommended in the first 24 hours.
If you won’t use all the juice in the first few days, you can freeze it for later.
