Ingredients

  • cup Lemon Juice about 3 lemons
  • 4 Inch Piece of Ginger peeled
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper ground

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the blender.
  • Blend for 30-seconds, until ginger is finely chopped.
  • Strain (into a measuring cup) and press on the leftover pulp with a spoon to squeeze all of the juice out.
  • Pour into an airtight container and measure out 1.5 OZ whenever ready for a shot of immunity and energy!

Notes

Blender Preferred: Use a small blender attachment (if you have) to make the clean up easier.
Strain Well: Strain the juice into an airtight container. I strained over a measuring cup, pressing out the ginger pulp to make sure every droplet of juice was out. I then poured the juice into an airtight container.
Be Careful on Spice: Use the cayenne sparingly as the ginger adds spice too! If you need to sweeten this drink up, or dilute the juice for less strength, I suggest coconut water, regular filtered water, honey or maple syrup. You can also add orange juice as a sweeter juice to balance out the acidity of the lemons.
Storage: Store the juice in an airtight container in the fridge and pour into shot glasses when ready to take it. Another option is to freeze the shots in pre-measured amounts of 1-2 OZ into ice cube trays.
