  • ½ Cup Strawberries
  • 4 Cups Raspberry or Mixed Berry Sparkling Water

Instructions

  • Pour elderflower liqueur and then the rosé.
  • Stir together and place into fridge for 30-minutes up to 4-hours.
  • Top with sparkling water and serve in glasses with ice.

Notes

ELDERFLOWER LIQUEUR. While St. Germain is the most well known of elderflower liqueur brands, there are others. As a substitute, use a citrus liqueur like Gran Marnier or Cointreau. Triple Sec works as well but the flavor is less subtle.
DRY ROSÉ. A dry rosé is necessary in this rose sangria. Even if you like more sweet wines, the sugar balances out the dryness. If you only have sweeter rosé that’s fine, but definitely watch the sugar.
SUGAR. I used raw sugar in this rose sangria with berries. You could use a simple syrup to dissolve easier.
BERRIES. I used strawberries and raspberries because of their sweetness and color. You could always make a blackberry sangria or use whatever berries are your favorite! Always feel free to add more berries, they taste so good after sucking up the flavor!
BERRY SPARKLING WATER. After infusing the rosé with the sugar and berries, top with a mixed berry or raspberry sparkling water when ready to serve. This makes the rose sangria bubble and light. Substitute for lemon or plain-flavored sparkling water.
