Spiked Vodka Lemonade with Kiwi
Vodka and lemonade - what’s a better combination for a Summer cocktail? Fresh kiwi, homemade lemonade, lemon vodka, and sparkling lemon water. This perfect Summer drink tastes like spiked lemonade!
Servings: 1 cocktail
- 2 OZ Vodka lemon flavored
- 1 Lemon Wedge (¼ of a lemon)
- 1 Kiwis no skin
- 1 TSP Turbinado Sugar
- 6 OZ Sparkling Lemon Water
Gently muddle the kiwi, sugar and lemon wedge in a cocktail shaker or mason jar.
Add the vodka and a few ice cubes.
Shake for 15-seconds.
Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with sparkling lemon water.
Garnish with fresh kiwi slices and enjoy!
SPARKLING LEMON FLAVORED WATER. This adds a fizzy, lighter lemon flavor to this spiked lemonade. For a less strong lemon flavor, try unflavored sparkling water. Or swap for your favorite flavored sparkling water!
LEMON VODKA. I used lemon flavored vodka. This enhances the lemon flavor of this spiked lemonade. Substitute for unflavored vodka if you can’t find lemon-flavored.
SUGAR. Turbinado sugar helps balance out the tartness of the kiwi and lemon flavors. Substitute for simple syrup.
GREEN KIWI. The kiwi adds a fresh tropical taste to this vodka lemonade. I chop green kiwis into small chunks. Then I smash them with the sugar. Swap for strawberries to make a strawberry vodka lemonade or pink vodka lemonade.
FRESH LEMON WEDGES. Fresh lemon wedges take this drink to the next level! While you can use pre-made lemonade, it will be more sugary and sweet.
